Terms of use

Last updated:

These terms govern use of Sarfak, together with its privacy policy, without limiting rights that cannot legally be excluded.

The service and its provider

Sarfak is a manual expense and personal budget tracker provided by the developer of Sarfak. It is not a bank, wallet, payment service or regulated financial adviser and does not execute payments or transfers.

Your account

An account is required. Provide accurate details, use an email address you control, and protect your password. You are responsible for the records you enter and use of your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

If you cannot legally agree to these terms, use the service only with any consent required from a guardian or legal representative.

Current features

The current version supports manual expense entry, viewing, editing and deletion, budgets and reports in Saudi riyals, and weekly or monthly schedules that automatically record recurring expenses. Bank connections and statement imports are not available. Internet access is required to view and change records. Email verification and password reset are not yet available; keep your password safe.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and only with rights to the information you provide. Do not access other accounts, bypass authentication or rate limits, disrupt the service, or submit malicious or unlawful data. Abusive use may be restricted or suspended where needed to protect the service or comply with applicable law.

Your data and intellectual property

Your expense information remains yours. You allow us to process it as needed to provide the service under the privacy policy. The Sarfak name, app, website and content are protected by their owners’ rights. You receive a limited right to use the app personally under these terms; ownership of the software is not transferred.

Availability, changes and payments

The app is currently in testing. Features may change, and outages or maintenance may occur. We work to maintain the service and records, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. The current version has no integrated subscriptions or in-app purchases. Any future paid options will disclose their price and terms before purchase.

Ending use

You can stop using Sarfak or delete your account in the app. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete server records. The account-deletion page and privacy policy explain active database deletion and backup retention.

Responsibility and applicable rights

Sarfak is an organizational tool whose results depend on your entries. Check your records before making financial decisions; it is not a certified accounting or tax record. These terms do not exclude liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded. Applicable law governs the service, including Saudi Arabian law where applicable.

Terms may change with the service. Check the revision date and contact us with questions or disputes.
